WELCOME Welcome to the Association of LJS Franchisees web page. The first and primary function of the Association is to help ensure the continue viability of the concept and the brand. That’s job number one. The second is to assist the franchisee community to be successful primarily by providing an effective and pro-active communication link between the franchisee community and the company leadership. We do this in a number of ways. We have a very active board of directors and subcommittees of that board which work on frequent, and most of the time, daily basis with the company’s leadership team. The current board members and subcommittee members are listed under the Member Information tab. The key to the success of the Association is an effective two-way communication with not only the company’s representatives, but with the franchisee community. We want to hear from you, get your comments, suggestions and ideas, and even your complaints. You will hear from us on a frequent basis, but communication needs to be both ways, so let us know what your thoughts are about any issue. We provide a number of varied forums for communication and exchange of ideas. For example, the Association puts on a convention each year in the late spring. The conventions are an excellent way to learn, exchange ideas and network with your fellow franchisees and with the company and co-op representatives in a relaxed setting. Our vendors are also present for the tradeshow and provide a really great opportunity to get to see and taste products and discuss issues with our vendors. We also have quarterly “FAB” meetings in Louisville and those are always well attended by franchisees. This forum affords franchisees a way to stay on top of all current issues and initiatives. In addition, the Association board meets four or five times a year with the company’ leadership team with a view to keep the company's focus on the brand and the franchisees. We feel we have created and good partnership with the company’s leadership team which has greatly benefited the franchisees and the concept and brand.
